SNOWKINGS' WINTER FESTIVAL
March 1 to 28, 2026

The Yellowknife Guild of Arts and Crafts stormed the walls of the snowcastle at the Snowking's Winter Festival with a frosted exhibit by fibre and other artists celebrating the return of spring.  Our exhibit in the Great Hall of Snow was open for public viewing through the entire month of March 2026.  Guild members also hosted a weekend of art demonstrations and activities for visitors.   Arts and crafts on display included weaving, knitting, basketry, stained glass,  papermaking, wood carving, mosaics, wet felting, needle felting, hand spinning, fabric dyeing, block printing, and wood burning.
