Guild Artists... Show Off Your Work and Skills

Are you a Guild artist interested in showing your work during our 80th anniversary celebrations?  We are looking for member artists, long-standing or just starting, to display their work or give demonstrations at celebratory events from March 2026 through February 2027.  Contact the anniversary planning committee at yellowknifeguild@gmail.com for more information.  We would love to have you participate!

The deadline for submission of pieces for display at the Snowkings' Winter Festival (fibre arts, woodburning, weaving, dyed fabric, knitting, basketry, woodcarving) is February 22, 2026.  The theme of the display is "The Return of Spring."

Volunteers... Many Hands Needed

The theme of the Guild cookbook is "Many Hands" and that is what has defined the Guild's success through 80 years.  We will need "many hands" to make our anniversary celebrations a success.  If you are interested in helping throughout the year, we are looking for volunteers to help set up and take down exhibits at special events, support artists during demonstration events, participate in public activities, talk to the public about exhibited art and artists, and promote the Guild.  Join the celebration to get to know other Guild members and have fun celebrating arts and crafts in Yellowknife.  Contact the anniversary planning committee at yellowknifeguild@gmail.com.
