Youth Intro to Handbuilding (Ages 12 to 15)

Students will be introduced to the joy of creating with clay.  They will learn the ABC's of handbuilding: pinch, coil and slab.  Over the 4-week series, the instructor will demonstrate foundational handbuilding techniques and encourage students to exercise their creativity and learn new skills through a series of step-wise projects.

At the last class, students will be able to choose glaze options for their magnificent creations.  Pieces will be glazed by the instructor and Guild volunteers and will be available for pick up in September (students/parents will be contacted to arrange pick-up).

Prerequisites:  Current child membership.  Students must be between the ages of 12 to 15 years old by December 31, 2026.  No prior experience necessary.

Cost:  $162 (includes clay)
