Special Workshop - Ceramic Surface Decoration with Beth Harden

This hands-on decoration workshop with Beth Harden focuses on transferring images onto leather hard forms and working with Diamond Core carvers to create distinctive surface textures. The workshop will cover various techniques, including different methods for transferring images to your work, which can be used as templates for detailed carving or painting techniques.

The workshop will include a demonstration on how Beth takes freshly carved pieces to completion.  As everyone may not finish their pieces during the workshop, Beth will also review how she manages pieces between carving sessions.

One lucky participant will be selected to receive a care package from Beth's favorite supplier, which will include samples of Chrysanthos Color Underglazes and Ceramica Transfers!

Prerequisites:  Current full studio or scheduled open studio privileges.  Ability to independently make and trim pots prior to workshop.  Age 16 or older.  Adult full membership.

Cost:  $130 (tools, clay and images not included; participants must bring their own carving tools or purchase Diamond Core carvers through Beth at an additional cost of $65 to $80 per tool)
