Basketry - Reed Gathering Basket

Using commercial reed, participants will create a gathering basket that can be used to collect any variety of country foods or for quick trips to the store. The design and cross strap make the basket sit nicely on your hip.

Students should bring sharp scissors or pruners. A 12½-inch quilters' square would be useful but not required.
