Experience the unique luxury of handknit socks! This class introduces top-down sock construction following an easy stockinette sock pattern. Tips are provided for achieving a customized fit. Colourful self-patterning or hand-dyed yarn adds interest to these casual socks.
Skills that you will learn include basic top-down sock construction, turning a heel, picking up instep stitches, and grafting a toe. All skills are demonstrated and taught during the class. Homework is required between sessions.

Prerequisites: Intermediate knitting skills including proficiency in casting on, working in the round, knit and purl, and casting off. Not suitable for beginners. Age 16 or older.
