Explore the ancient technique of wet felting. Using modern materials, learn to lay out wool and the steps to create quality felt, and build a foundation for more complex projects.
In this 4-hour class, we will use a resist to make a festive felted light holder. A resist is used in felting to make three dimensional objects from a flat pattern. The resist can be anything flat that will keep the two sides of felt from felting together, so it “resists” the felting process.
