Floor Loom Weaving - Huck Placemats

Learn to weave huck on a 4-shaft floor loom while making a set of placemats!  This seminar-style class expands skills for weaving on a 4-shaft floor loom. The project is a set of perle cotton placemats showcasing a several huck patterns.

Skills developed will include indirect warping on a warping mill, pre-threading, winding onto the loom, threading heddles, sleying a reed, and weaving huck.

Skills will be acquired through collaborative seminar sessions with independent work required between sessions. Actual class dates may vary depending on student and instructor preference.

Prerequisites:  Prior weaving experience approved by instructor (approval code provided by instructor must be entered during registration).  Age 16 or older.

Cost:  $135 (includes 7 weeks of weaving studio access, loom use, and materials)
