Learn to weave on a 4-shaft floor loom while making a set of cotton tea towels! This seminar-style class provides an introduction to weaving on a 4-shaft floor loom. The project is a set of striped cotton tea towels showcasing a variety of twill patterns.
Skills learned will include indirect warping on a warping mill, pre-threading, winding onto the loom, threading heddles, sleying a reed, and weaving twill.
Skills will be developed in collaborative seminar sessions and independent work will be required between sessions. Actual class dates may vary depending on student and instructor preference.

Prerequisites: Prior weaving experience approved by instructor (permission to register must be uploaded during registration). Age 16 or older. Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (must be uploaded during registration). Masking may be required.
