Basketry - Wild Willow Banneton

Use wild northern willow or buff commercial willow to make a small basket suitable for fruit, bread, crafts or other items. If you are into making "No Knead" bread, this basket can also be used as a banneton to proof your bread. Finished size will be 7 inches diameter by 4 inches high with 10 inch top diameter.

Registration fee includes materials and use of special equipment. If possible, participants should bring anvil clippers, locking knives and old towels.

Allergy Alert:  Anyone with an allergy to aspirin should contact the instructor to discuss prior to registration.  Exposure to willow can cause reactions in persons with allergy to aspirin.

Prerequisites:  No prior experience necessary.  Age 16 or older.  Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (must be uploaded during registration).
