Plates and Platters Workshop

This intermediate workshop introduces the skills needed to make wheel-thrown plates and platters.  Short demonstrations combined with hands-on practice will include techniques for throwing, trimming and glazing flat pieces.  Forms explored will include spoon rests, small and large plates, and chip-and-dip platters. 

Instructor:  Cynthia Levy  

Prerequisites:  Basic throwing skills including the ability to wedge and center 10 pounds of clay.  Age 16 or older.  Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (must be uploaded during registration).

Cost:  $82 (clay not included; participants to purchase own bagged clay during workshop)
